BERKELEY MYSTERY WRITING INTENSIVE
A ONE-DAY WORKSHOP ON SATURDAY, APRIL 18

How did a Berkeley mom with twins write a first novel nominated for an Edgar? What does a San Francisco writer do to create page-turning suspense? What are the most common mistakes crime novelists make when they create fictional cops and P.I.’s?

Join crime fiction writers Cornelia Read, David Corbett, Juliet Blackwell, Tim Maleeny, and Sophie Littlefield at the Berkeley Mystery Writing Intensive.

Bay Area authors, emerging writers, and law-enforcement professionals will teach you how to polish your fiction, find an agent, and get published. The $140 Registration fee includes breakfast, lunch, snacks, and a no-host cocktail hour/book signing with the authors.
The deadline to register is April 1, 2009.
