CALL FOR PARTICIPATION: Calling all writers for sixth edition of STC’s “Interstice”‏

Calling all writers for sixth edition of STC’s “Interstice”Interslice

The sixth edition of South Texas College’s literary magazine “Interstice” is currently in development. All writers and artists, particularly those who are current students or alums of the college, are encouraged to submit original poetry, short stories and artwork for possible publication in the annual issue, which will be available in print in April 2010. Editors also welcome submissions from the larger national and international communities.

The deadline for submission is Nov. 30, 2009. Submission forms are available online at www.southtexascollege.edu/interstice and all submissions require a form. Electronic versions of all submissions are required and should be submitted on a CD- ROM or 3.5 diskette, but a printed copy of each submission should also be provided. Text should be saved as “rtf” documents and all artwork should be saved as “jpq” files with high resolution (a minimum 300 dpi).

Prose submissions should be no longer than 3,000 words, and poetry submissions should between three to five pages total. Editors use a blind selection process, so please do not include names on the actual submitted entries; names should only appear on the accompanying submission forms.
